The long battle for the Winter Olympics is over.
PyeongChang won the right to host the 2018 Games after winning most of the votes on Wednesday at the International Olympic Committee session in Durban, South Africa.
It proved to be third time lucky for Pyeongchang as the South Korean candidate
was awarded the right to host the 2018 Winter Olympics ahead of Munich, Germany and Annecy, France.
