On July 16, the Korean speech contest was held in California, U.S.
More than 300 students participated in the contest.
Surprisingly, an American girl won the second prize!
The girl’s name is Alyssa Donovan.
She is 14 years old.
She started learning Korean by herself in 2007.
Now she can speak Korean perfectly!
“I love Korean culture and food. I love Korea!” she said.
